Adams Associates are currently enjoying their 15th year as an architectural practice. Last year (2007) was a particularly eventful year, which saw one of our 'new house' projects featured on the Channel 4 programme 'Grand Designs'.
Also that year, we were proud to have received two design awards from Waverley Borough Council, in the 'New Buildings' category and the 'Sustainable Design and Construction' category.
The practice consists of a main team of 3 with 'back up' resources from Peter Routley Associates
(Chartered Surveyors) with whom we work in association and a number of consultants specialising
in such areas as property valuation, structural engineering, quantity surveying and landscape design.
Trevor Adams, who has some 40 years experience in architecture, is the principal of the Guildford
based practice and a member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists.
In the studio, Erat Valeri and Martin Cannings are our Architectural CAD Technicians/Designers and Martin is
currently attending day release at university, where he is studying for a BA Honours Degree in Architecture.
Examples of the wide variety of architectural projects undertaken by Adams Associates can be seen
throughout our web site and include new and conversion/extension/alteration works for individual residential
properties, housing developments, new and alteration works to schools, hotels, offices, dental surgeries, public houses, restaurants and village halls.
The range of works to individual residential properties can vary from small, single storey extensions, to
large new houses incorporating such features as indoor swimming pools, cinemas, gymnasia and games rooms.
